RANGPO,: Amar Subba along with his team have reached Basar in Arunachal Pradesh to compete in the BRUTE 4.0 Trail Run Championship.
Scheduled to take place on November 23, the event is officially recognized by International Trail Running Association (ITRA) and serves as a vital qualifier for the 2025 World Trail Run Championship.
The team from Sikkim comprises eight runners who will be competing in various categories. Amar Subba and Shanti Rai will run the challenging 60 km category, while Nirmal, Anuda Tamang and Bir Bahadur Rai will tackle the 30 km trail. Shiva Hang Limboo is set to compete in the 39-km race, and Ranjana Tamang and Unisha Tamang will represent the team in the 10-km category. Together, they aim to showcase their endurance and determination, representing Sikkim with pride on this international platform, a press release informs.
