GATC announces European Tour for fall season 2024

GANGTOK,: Rock and metal fans across Europe will witness an epic series of shows as Girish And The Chronicles (GATC) hits the road for their much-anticipated European tour this fall.

Kicking off on October 25, in Trollhättan, Sweden, this tour will span multiple countries, bringing hard-hitting performances to both intimate venues and major festivals, a press release informs.

In the first leg, the GATC are performing in Sweden, Finland, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and Italy from October 25 to November 10. The band is playing in Germany at three separate venues on different dates.

“These will be their debut performances as a band in Sweden, Finland, Netherlands and Italy. With the addition of these new countries, the band is excited and looking forward to rocking the new faces and fans. This also marks their 3rd performance at the Ur Rock festival, Switzerland, where they will be performing with some of the finest bands from the rock scene across the world,” the release informs.

The GATC is making a short visit to India after their 1st leg of the European tour, for their second edition of the legendary Mahindra Independence Rock aka iRock, in Mumbai.

After a strong start, the 2nd leg of the tour will continue to Spain, where fans are eagerly awaiting their performance in Castellon on November 20 with additional dates in Zaragoza, Burgos, and Lleida. The final Spanish performance will be in Madrid on November 24, though the venue is still to be announced.

The grand finale of their tour will take place at the Winterstorm Festival in Troon, Scotland on November 30, a fitting conclusion to what promises to be a memorable tour across Europe. This will be the GATC’s first visit as a band to the UK.

The GATC, Sikkim’s foremost rock music export, is presently based in Bengaluru. The band consists of Girish Pradhan (vocals & guitar), Suraj Karki (lead guitar), Yogesh Pradhan (bassist) and Nagen Mangrati (drums).
