GANGTOK,: On the occasion of New Year 2025,
Governor Om Prakash Mathur has extended his warm greetings and best wishes to
the people of Sikkim.
In his message, the Governor stated,
“New Year marks a new beginning with new resolutions, new people to meet, new
adventures to enjoy and new memories to create. May the New Year infuse the new
hopes, feelings of humanity, service, philanthropy and peace in the country and
the world. We all have to work together with a dedicated spirit to build a new
India with new thinking, new energy and new hope.”
He further added, “Let us reaffirm our
commitment to nation-building and the welfare of our State as we usher in the
New Year. Together, let us strive toward the noble goal of establishing India
as 'Vishva Guru.’”
Chief Minister P.S. Golay, in his New
Year message with the people of Sikkim, emphasized hope, unity and collective
progress for 2025.
In his New Year’s message, the Chief
Minister described Sikkim as a land of peace, harmony and limitless
possibilities. He highlighted the remarkable progress made in recent years,
attributing it to the active participation of the people of Sikkim.
“Our collective strength lies in working
together to unlock Sikkim’s full potential,” he said. “The progress we have
witnessed over the past years stands as a testament to the active participation
and dedication of our people, who remain at the heart of every achievement.”
The Chief Minister expressed his deep
gratitude to the citizens of Sikkim for their trust and support. “Together,
with the steadfast commitment of our citizens and the tireless efforts of
public servants, we can continue to build a brighter, more prosperous future
for all.”
Looking ahead to 2025, Chief Minister
Golay said, “May 2025 be a year of growth, unity, and fulfilment, where our
dreams turn into reality and our collective efforts yield lasting impact. Let
us move forward with gratitude for the past and unwavering confidence in the
future.”
Concluding his message, he wished
everyone a year filled with new opportunities, shared successes, and boundless
joy.
