Governor Mathur attends ‘Rising Rajasthan’ investment summit

GANGTOK,: Sikkim Governor Om Prakash Mathur attended the second day of ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024, the Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave today in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The three-day event is being organised by Government of Rajasthan.  

The Sikkim Governor was joined by his Rajasthan counterpart Haribhau Bagade, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, Union Environment minister Bhupender Yadav and other host of dignitaries, informs a Raj Bhawan release.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Mathur stated that the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 praised the industrious nature, entrepreneurial spirit and bravery of Rajasthanis. He highlighted how Pravasi Rajasthanis made remarkable achievements and commended their success and recognition across their diverse profession that have earned global recognition in different sectors.

He mentioned that this ‘Rising Rajasthan’ event served as a heartfelt reunion connecting Rajasthani from different countries of the world with their roots while promoting the rich cultural tapestry and timeless traditions of the State across the globe.

The Governor praised Rajasthan for its immense pool of talent and said that there should be no stone unturned in the journey to make Rajasthan as model State of India. He highlighted the transformative changes in Rajasthan, urging collective efforts to promote “Vocal for Local” practices.

“Together, with determination and unity, Rajasthan will achieve unprecedented heights and emerge as a model for the entire nation,” the Governor added.
