GANGTOK, : The Organisation of Musicians and Artists of Sikkim (OMAS), a
non-governmental organization founded in 2013, is dedicated to uniting artists
from diverse creative fields, providing them with platforms to showcase their
talent and share their knowledge.
“As
we mark our 12th foundation day on March 17, OMAS is set to celebrate with
renewed enthusiasm through a weeklong event, ‘Souvenirs of Sikkim’. This special
initiative will spotlight local artists and artisans, aligning with the
visionary leadership of Chief Minister Prem Singh Golay and his vision for a ‘Sunaulo,
Samriddhaani Samarth Sikkim’,” said the OMAS in a press statement on Saturday.
The
OMAS has invited local entrepreneurs, artists, and the people of Sikkim to join
it in this grand celebration and be part of a movement that uplifts and
promotes the State’s rich artistic heritage.
