GANGTOK, (IPR): A preparatory meeting regarding the official visit of the
16th Finance Commission to Sikkim was held at the conference hall at Tashiling
this morning.
The
meeting was presided over by VB Pathak, chief secretary and was attended by R
Telang, ACS, Home and Education departments, and AK Singh, DGP. Also in
attendance were heads of departments and senior officials from the concerned
line departments.
The
meeting surrounded topics such as the logistics and expenditure of the visit of
the 13-person entourage who are scheduled to visit the State from January 19 to
January 22, 2025.
Detailed
discussions were held on logistical arrangements, including travel,
accommodation, transportation, and activity schedules. Additionally, committees
were formed to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees,
guaranteeing the smooth execution of official meetings.
