SORENG, (IPR): The nomination process for the upcoming Bye-Elections 2024 concluded today, with one candidate submitting his nomination papers at the office of the Returning Officer (Soreng) Dhiraj Subedi in the presence of Rajendra Kumar Verma, (Election General Observer), DR Bista and Sunny Kharel, Assistant Returning Officers (Soreng).
Pobin Hang Subba filed his nomination as the candidate of Citizen Action Party -Sikkim from the 07-Soreng Chakung Assembly constituency. The nomination process was conducted in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Election Commission of India (ECI).
The scrutiny of nominations will be conducted on October 28 (Monday), and the withdrawal of nominations can be made until October 30 (Wednesday).
The poll day is scheduled for November 13 (Wednesday).
