CM pays tribute to former PM at Sadaiv Atal

NEW DELHI, (IPR): In a solemn and dignified ceremony at Sadaiv Atal, Rajghat, New Delhi, Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang alongside leaders from across the nation gathered to honor the memory of Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee, on his 6th Punya Tithi.

The Prarthana Sabha was marked by the presence of President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Rajya Sabha Deputy Speaker Harivansh Narayan Singh, along with Union Ministers and other distinguished dignitaries.

“Vajpayee Ji, a towering statesman and visionary leader, was remembered for his unwavering dedication to the nation and his unparalleled contributions to India's political landscape. His tenure as Prime Minister was characterized by significant economic reforms, a strong emphasis on national unity, and a strategic foreign policy that elevated India’s global stature”, shared the Chief Minister.

Beyond his political achievements, Vajpayee was also celebrated as a poet and a man of deep empathy, whose words and actions resonated with love for his country and its people, mentioned the Chief Minister.

“His legacy of wisdom, resilience, and relentless pursuit of peace and progress continues to inspire generations. The nation remains forever indebted to his service and leadership”, further added the Chief Minister.
