GANGTOK, : Narayani Pradhan from Panihouse locality here became the first brand ambassador of Sikkim Glamour World 2024-25 during the 6th edition beauty pageant organized by Sikkim Glamour World in association with Sushma Production at Manan Kendra on Sunday evening.
Divya Sharma from Central Pendam was crowned as Mrs Sikkim 2024 followed by Sunita Sharma as first runners-up, while Kesang Uden Sherpa as second runners-up.
Similarly, Sakshi Pradhan from Pakyong emerged victorious and secured the crown as Miss Teen Sikkim 2024. Akshyata Rai claimed the position of first runners-up with Alina Tamang as the second runners-up.
Meanwhile, in the inaugural season of Miss India Sikkim, Rushali Gurung from Dentam clinched the title, while Sweta Biswakarma and Rinchen Doma Bhutia secured the positions of first and second runners-up, respectively.
The event had producer of Sushmna Production founder Sushma Gurung as the chief guest. The grand finale began with a captivating video showcasing the participants' transformative journey during their grooming sessions.
The competition comprised three distinctive rounds. The first segment was the traditional round, where the finalists showcased a variety of traditional attires. This was followed by the Forever21 round, featuring the finalists in stunning western outfits. The last round, the Gown round, saw the participants donning exquisite gowns crafted by Sanjay Subba.
The event also included the announcement of subtitles, covering categories such as Mrs. Sikkim Popular, Mrs. Sikkim Active, Spontaneous, Enthusiastic, Best Ramp, Personality, Beauty with Brain, Body Beautiful, Photogenic, and more.
The finale included a Q&A round, providing a concluding touch of intelligence and composure to the elegant event.
A total of 24 participants were selected for the finale during the audition held last November. They were groomed and under the guidance of Rinzing Bhutia and designed under Sanjay Subba.
The grand finale witnessed a large turnout of enthusiastic youth and the finalists’s family members.
