GANGTOK,: Sikkim’s pride Eksha Kerung was announced winner of Warner Bros
Discovery’s thrilling new reality show ‘Reality Ranis of the Jungle’, a
ground-breaking all-women survival adventure series.
The ‘Rani
of the Jungle’ was awarded the winning trophy, along with the prize money of Rs
20 lakh.
Eksha
Kerung, Arushi Chawla and Krissann Barretto were the top three finalists of the
reality show.
After
entertaining the audience for a month, the reality show culminated its journey
with a blockbuster grand finale episode on Tuesday. The reality show premiered
on September 23 on the Discovery Channel and discovery+.
The show
featured 12 bold divas, stepping into the untamed wilderness, ready to face
some of the toughest challenges the jungle has to offer. The contestants, each
a powerhouse in their respective fields, were physically and mentally.
From
celebrated actors, fierce athletes to social media stars and entrepreneurs,
these women come from diverse backgrounds, bringing with them a unique
combination of skills, talents and personalities. The reality show represents
the true spirit of womanhood i.e. fearless, determined and unrelenting.
Eksha from
Rumbuk, Sombaria in West Sikkim is a cop, MTV Supermodel of the Year 2021,
actor, biker, two-time national level athlete and a State-level boxer. She was
born to parents Aitaraj Subba and Sukrani Subba from Rumbuk, Sombaria in West
Sikkim.
A woman of
many talents, Eksha is a police officer from Sikkim, State-representing boxer,
fashion icon, actor, model and the face of Maybelline New York etc. With a love
for adventure and long bike rides, her tough, dynamic persona makes her a force
to be reckoned with in the jungle.
