The conference focused on Incident Response System (IRS) activities, Tabletop Exercises (TTEx) and mock exercises to enhance disaster preparedness and response, informs a press release.

The primary objective of the meeting was to discuss the initial plans and conduct upcoming mock exercises aimed at testing and improving the readiness of all involved stakeholders.

The IRS framework emphasizes the efficient mobilization and utilization of resources and information during disasters. It was announced that the Tabletop Exercise will be conducted on September 10, followed by a district-wide mock drill exercise on September 12. These exercises aim to enhance coordination among agencies and ensure a swift, effective response in real disaster situations, the release adds.
