GANGTOK,: Chief Minister PS Golay has been recognized as the most popular Chief Minister in India within his home State, according to the India Today ‘Mood of the Nation 2024’ survey, shared the ruling SKM on Friday.
Golay leads the list with an outstanding popularity rating of 55.7% making him the top-rated Chief Minister in the country, said the SKM in a press statement.
The ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey also highlights other popular Chief Ministers, with Himanta Biswa Sarma (Assam) at 50.8% in second place, followed by Bhupendrabhai Patel (Gujarat) at 46% and others in the top 10.

Additionally, Golay’s good relationship with the Central leadership and the Union government has established him as a respected leader both in Sikkim and nationally, said the SKM.
The SKM congratulated Golay, also the party president, on this outstanding recognition.
