GANGTOK,: Chief Minister PS Golay has said that the entire credit goes to the
people of Sikkim for him being ranked as the ‘Most Popular Chief Minister’ in
home State by India Today ‘Mood of the Nation’ 2024 survey.
The
recognition which I have got is solely due to the people of Sikkim… the entire
credit goes to the Sikkimey Janata, said the Chief Minister on Saturday at an
event here.
On
Friday, the India Today ‘Mood of the Nation’ 2024 survey was released which
ranks Golay as the most popular Chief Minister in home State in the country. He
leads the list with an outstanding popularity rating of 55.7% making him the
top-rated Chief Minister in the country, as per the survey.
In a
social media post, Golay recorded his happiness on the topping the list of the
most popular Chief Ministers (in home State) in the ‘Mood of the Nation’ survey
conducted by India Today.
“I
want to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to the people
of Sikkim for your unmatched love and support. It is your blessings that give
me the strength and energy to serve you with utmost sincerity and dedication.
No award or recognition is more meaningful to me than the immense love and
support I have been fortunate to receive from my “Sikkimey Janata”,” said the
Chief Minister.
