GANGTOK,: Vivek Cintury, a young entrepreneur from Majhitar near Rangpo who is
the founder of the start-up ‘Nature Gift’, called on Governor Om Prakash Mathur
at Raj Bhavan here on Tuesday.
During the
meeting, Vivek gave a thorough overview of his company's processing of regional
organic products, including buckwheat, turmeric, ginger, large cardamom and
other organic products. He highlighted the marketing techniques for these
organic items and explained that his company is working relentlessly to market
them nationally.
The Governor is
passionate about agriculture and committed to increasing farmers' incomes,
making them self-reliant and improving their standard of living. He emphasized
the importance of youth participation in entrepreneurship and encouraged them
to become job providers rather than job seekers.
The Governor
mentioned that the startups are playing an important role in today’s country’s
economic scenario as it will not only create employment opportunities, but also
lead the society and country towards development with new ideas. He stressed
how important it is to continue supporting organic farming and ensuring that
farmers receive fair market pricing.
The Governor
assured guidance to Cintury for his work and appreciated his efforts and also
expressed his desire to visit his processing unit in the near future, a Raj
