GANGTOK, (IPR): The weeklong exposure
tour of media persons to the State of Kerala from Sikkim for the year 2024-25
began today. The exposure trip is an annual event sponsored by the Government
of Sikkim through the Information and Public Relations department.
The
team led by IPR director UmeshSunamcomprises of seven journalists nominated by
Press Club of Sikkim and three officials from the IPR department, namely,
PrabinRai (freelancer), BishnuLallNeopany (freelancer), Sanjib Lama (Himali
Sikkim), RabindraNath Sharma (Sikkim Reporter), Srawan Kumar Chettri
(HamroVarta), ChitraBahadurChettri (Sikkim Reporter), Deepak Gurung
(Anugamini), YadopKumarAdhikari (SIA, IPR) and Sandeep Kumar Rai (SIA, IPR).
During
the tour, the media persons will visit the Information and Public Relations department,
Government of Kerala and other related institutions for knowledge sharing and
exchange of best practices.
