GANGTOK,: Khangchendzonga State
University, Sikkim, has been recognized for its exemplary performance in energy
management by the Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA)
Council.
The
university’s Tarku campus project was declared the winner under the Energy
Management category during the 16th GRIHA Summit held on December 5 in New
Delhi, informs a press release.
The
prestigious award was received by Khangchendzonga State University vice
chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ashis Sharma, along with Superintendent Engineer of the engineering
section Kamlesh Pradhan, Project Manager of the Tarku Project, MTLC, Dilip
Ghosal, architect Ashutosh Agarwal, and his team.
The
award celebrates the university's commitment to sustainable practices and
innovative approaches in energy efficiency.
The
GRIHA Summit, a flagship event, brings together experts, policymakers, and
stakeholders from across the country to promote sustainable habitat
