GANGTOK,: Lok Sabha MP from Sikkim, Indra Hang Subba, is currently in New Delhi to attend the winter session of Parliament, which is set to commence on Monday.
Today, Indra Hang participated in a meeting of the floor leaders of political parties in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, representing the Sikkim Krantikari Morcha.
The meeting was chaired by Defence minister Rajnath Singh with the Union minister for Parliamentary Affairs Kiren Rijiju also in attendance.
Indra Hang Subba reaffirmed his commitment to working towards fulfilling the agenda raised during his election campaign earlier this year.
As Sikkim’s representative in Parliament, Indra Hang emphasized his focus on raising the State’s key issues and concerns during the session. He also plans to follow up on the assurances given by Central leaders and ministries in response to his questions during the monsoon and budget sessions earlier this year, informs a press release.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang-Golay, the Lok Sabha MP is determined to advocate for Sikkim’s rightful share of resources and support. He reiterated his dedication in representing the people of Sikkim, the release from his office states.
