NAMCHI, (IPR): District Collector (DC) Namchi Anupa Tamling conducted a field
visit to multiple locations around Adarshgaon today to assess the damage caused
by natural calamities to the road and infrastructure in the area. The road,
which is a crucial connectivity link for the local community, was severely
damaged due to landslides and erosion.
The
DC was accompanied by a team of officers, including Subash Ghimirey ADC Namchi
(HQ), Karma Choda Bhutia, deputy director LR&DM, Laxman Tamang CDPO
(South), NHPC authorities and other staff from line departments.
The
team led by the DC Namchi conducted a thorough inspection of the damaged roads
in Adarshgaon area and held discussions regarding the construction of a new
bridge in there. They also reviewed the restoration plan for the damaged roads,
including the allocation of necessary resources and timelines for completion.
Following
the inspection, the DC visited the ICDS center at Adarshgaon, where she
interacted with the staff and discussed the center's operation, including the
provision of services and benefits to the beneficiaries.
