GANGTOK, : Nar Bahadur Bhandari Government College (NBBGC), Gangtok on Monday
signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emporium Training &
Consultancy Pvt Ltd for “skill training and recruitment” of educated unemployed
youth of Sikkim in India and overseas on Monday.
The
MoU was signed by NBBGC principal Dr. D. Purohit and Anirban Mukherjee,
operations manager, Emporium Training & Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.
With
this development, Emporium will now provide world class skill training and
employment opportunities worldwide for the students pursuing different courses
in various colleges and schools of Sikkim, the college said in a press release.
Speaking
on the occasion, Anirban Mukherjee stressed that various skill training
programmes and campus recruitment drives and opportunities will be announced
shortly in the NBBGC campus here at Tadong.
Dr.Purohit
stated that through this collaboration with Emporium, NBBGC will now be able to
provide world class job opportunities to the educated unemployed youth of
Sikkim. This initiative is aligned with the NEP, Skill India mission of
Government of India to make India the "world skills capital,” the release
added.
