PAKYONG,: Flights from Pakyong Airport are scheduled to resume by March 30 this year after a gap of ten months.
Pakyong Airport director Sanjeev Kumar Singh informed SIKKIM EXPRESS about the initial summer schedule for operation of flights from the State’s sole airport.
Spicejet would be operating daily flights between Pakyong, Guwahati, and Kolkata.
Bookings have started, it was informed.
The Delhi-Pakyong-Delhi Spicejet flight and an Indigo flight for Hyderabad and Bengaluru from Pakyong airport are also in the pipeline, shared Singh.
Before the flights start, the Airports Authority of India has planned and given a new look to the Pakyong Airport like beautification of the surroundings, said the airport director.
