Plastic bottle recycling machine installed at Rangpo

RANGPO,: The Urban Development department has recently installed a plastic bottle-recycling machine at Rangpo. The initiative marks a proactive step in addressing the pressing issue of plastic waste pollution and promoting responsible waste management practices in the region.

Swachh Bharat Mission nodal officer Neelam Pradhan discussed the significance of the initiative in an exclusive conversation with this correspondent. She highlighted the importance of the recycling machine in tackling the challenge of plastic waste accumulation and emphasized the role of community participation in fostering a cleaner and greener environment.

The plastic bottle-recycling machine, strategically positioned at Rangpo, serves as a convenient and accessible resource for residents and travelers to dispose of their plastic bottles responsibly, she added.
