GANGTOK,: The Basketball Association of Sikkim is sending an under-16 State
basketball team to represent Sikkim in the Youth National Basketball
Championship at Puducherry.
The
championship is taking place from April 9 to 16, a press release informs.

Z. Bhutia is the captain of the 12-member Sikkim team with Sonam T. Barfungpa
as the coach and Tenzing Gyatso Bhutia as the manager.

minister Raju Basnet met the State team and the managers. He extended best
wishes to the State team for the Youth National Basketball Championship,
informs the release from Basketball Association of Sikkim general secretary Jigmela
Wazilingpa.
