GANGTOK,: The ‘Maker Dhoj-Ambali Scholarship’ was presented to two girl
students this year.
Samikshi
Chettri, daughter of Ramesh Chettri, and Enuma Subba, daughter of Jairam Kumar
Subba, received the scholarship from the hands of area MLA Sudesh K. Limboo
during a programme held at Hee Gaon today.
Maker
Dhoj-Ambali Scholarship Educational Charitable Trust, established in 2008, has
been continuously granting annual scholarships to two meritorious students with
cash prizes and a citation. The main objective to establish this trust is to
encourage and motivate amongst the meritorious students, informs a press
release.
The
MLA congratulated the duo and wished for success in their future endeavors.
On
the occasion, the MLA urged the teachers to proactively embrace the latest
teaching technique with strong vigor and commitment. He also appealed to the
guardians to extend consistent support to schools.
