GANGTOK,: Young Energetic Society, a national registered NGO, is set to host ‘Pratibha-
The Rising of Sikkim’, a grand event celebrating three significant milestones:
18 successful years of the organization, 50 years of Sikkim becoming the 22nd State
of India, and the 100th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
In
collaboration with Let's Visit Tours and Travel, this event aims to promote
Sikkim's rich culture, heritage, and tourism, while also showcasing its organic
farming practices. The event will take place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi,
and is expected to attract a large audience, including dignitaries,
celebrities, and representatives from over 10 to 15 embassies, a press release
informs.
The event
also aims to promote Sikkim nationally and internationally, attracting tourists
and investors, besides launching the ‘Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award’
to recognize deserving individuals who embody his ideals and values.
This event
is part of carrying forward the vision of Chief Minister PS Golay to make Sikkim
a prosperous and vibrant State. Young Energetic Society is committed to
promoting Sikkim's rich heritage and culture, and to contributing to the
State's economic development, the release mentions.

heritage, and tourism,” said Jyoti Sharma, State president of Young Energetic
Society.

Notable
dignitaries who have graciously accepted invitations to attend the event
include Anurag Singh Thakur, former Union Cabinet minister, BCCI president, and
renowned BJP leader, and Raj Bhushan Choudhary, Minister for State for Jal
Sakti.
Recently, Jyoti
Sharma, State president of Young Energetic Society, met with Union minister Kiren
Rijiju to share her vision for the upcoming event.
Rijiju
appreciated her efforts and expressed his support for the event and also
launched the ‘Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee National Award 2025’ poster.
Additionally,
Jyoti Sharma, along with Menuka Sherpa, had the privilege of meeting with the
Governor of Sikkim, Om Prakash Mathur, at the Raj Bhawan in Gangtok. During
this meeting, she presented the Governor with an exclusive invitation to grace
the prestigious events of ‘Pratibha - The Rising of Sikkim 2025’ and ‘Shri Atal
Bihari Vajpayee National Award 2025’.
